I have tried all the local parts stores and cant find nothing. I even called around to local diesel supply places and they said they dont have anything that small diameter.

With my new setup the intercooler piping coming off the turbo doesnt line straight up with piping. The piping goes off to the right. So the hose has to be flexiable to bend without having kinks in it. I tried the tuff hosing and the damn thing poped off within seconds of hitting 10lbs of boost.

Need this to be 2in diameter hose that is flexiable.

I saved these photos of someone's car with the kit I got......but dont remember who it is.......but you can see what I hose I am talking about here:

Got a phone number or a address on the web.......I dont mind ordering it over the phone or the net.........just got to get some hose that is flexiable and wont kink on me.

Thanks........Nick

Anyone got any ideas...............I also do want to pay an arm and leg for this..........I found a site that had a 45 degree angle hose that would probably work...........but for $40 I would rather just use a radiator hose..........

Is radiator hose alright to use? I dont think it will hold up, but what do you guys think?

TIA Nick

That is the site I found the 45 degree bend hose. Thanks, but I am trying to find something cheaper for now.

Will a radiator hose hold up to 16lb to 22lb of boost going thru it??

Thanks........Nick

Nick,

Never seen a rad hose used as you ask, but rad hoses routinely take water pressure in that range...so...can't see why not.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

If you're on a budget for now, do it.

HTH :)

Radiator hosing!

Thanks I will try that..............I have spent to much already this summer on the car (intake, turbo, injector, up pipe, down pipe, plugs, wires, T-link & laptop, water pump, Ramcharger fans, ported exhaust housing, race pipe, one new tire:):):D, 87 wastegate actuator, intercooler came with the intake, hot wire kit, 87 computer, custom chip, and even more little crap that adds up..........and winter is coming up real fast here in Wisconsin.........So I only have maybe a month if I am lucky to drive it yet.

I just dont want to spend $40 now, because I want to buy a whole intercooler hose kit that matches..(and may go with the ford front mount next summer). Thanks I will definatly have to try the radiator hose and see what happens..........oh well, the worst would be it crack open.......

Thanks agian..........Nick

based on the pictures it looks like a 45 deg elbow.

I wonder how well some of their intercooler pipes flow. mitering two straight pipes at about a 45 degree angle and then welding them together to make a 90 degree can't flow very well.

Thats what I am thinking...........so next year a intercooler is going in my car.........I am think Ford Front Mount intercooler.......well see. Thanks for the help guys. If the radiator hose fails then I will have to break down and get a 45 degree hose.

Later Nick
