Challenger 9000 lb versametrycal. Finally can finish buick!!!

Nice! Now blow those leaves out...

I keep saving up for one and then end up spending the money on my cars lol. The title made me laugh because one time I was trying to see what the difference was between symmetric and asymmetric lifts. I did a google image search on symmetric lift and let's just say the results were interesting lol.

Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!! When I built the garage I installed a 3 1/2" x 11 7/8" laminated beam to mount that 1/2 ton elextric hoist to. I figured if I need to pull a motor I can take off the hood and yank it right there.
I also designed it to have 15' high ceilings in the back part with high bay garage door tracks to accommodate the lift. It worked out perfect and I couldn't have worked out any better!!!

This is when I first built it from the outside if anyone is interested.

I like the lift with the front & back garage doors . Our cars should come with a lift or a discount coupon for one when the car is purchased . It was the best tool I've purchased for my garage , can't imagine working without it . Hell , my son uses it for side jobs all the time .

I am picking mine up the third week of December. Can't wait. Not too excited about muscling the runways around to put it together (4 post lift). My garage was built this summer with the lift in mind. I will be able to leave the Buick on the lift all winter and park my Legacy under it which turns my two car garage into a three car garage.
