Flat hood WH1 on there. Looks like a real rat. Guess we are viewed as lawless rengades. Also a fiberglass hooded Camaro, the epitome of the seatbeltless bubba.

Yeah, I just saw that commercial on TV just yesterday.

The car actually looks like an older '82-'83 NA Regal with the "Designer's Series" paint scheme in silver/dark blue. It's just a quick shot of the car but I remember seeing a few back in the early '80s.

There's a lot of them in Kansas, but I remember seeing one where they flash a lot of cars and i thought it was a Cutlass but i couldnt make it out that much.

Thats a recycled commercial from last years campaign. Final decision last year was that it was just a regular 82 regal (hood orniment was one of the clues). And my favorite is how all the cars are GMs

I couldn't care less about what someone else thinks of my car, my name is on the title. A TV commercial won't change the way someone looks at the car.

Funny you should make that observation. My wife is an actress and tries to get part time work by doing local commercials and promos. I've talked to a few producers about car related work and there seems to be a small left wing conspiracy when it comes to getting your POV across. The fact that all GM cars were used was probally no coinsidence. Some people are just into stereotyping. I bet the producers of that commercial were thinking you could never get the viewer to believe that some clown with a Benz or Lexus would drive around un-clicked. Lets use white thrash cars and make a sub liminual political statement at the same time. How many times have you ran into a snob that said they wouldn't be caught dead in a domestic car?
