Attached are a couple of pictures of a brand new, showroom ready 2013 Mercedes Benz S550 that was perfect on Saturday night at closing.

Here is the text that was attached to the e mail that I recieved on Monday morning, names have been redacted:

FYI

It is always something……..

DR opened the store Sunday morning to find our new 2013 S550, in front of the store, looking like the front end exploded. It turned out after further investigation that a pack of coyotes had trapped a rabbit or cat under the vehicle and proceeded to try to take it apart piece by piece.

Hope the little animal survived but I wish he would have picked a less expensive hideout.

Good selling,

Mercedes-Benz of Chandler
smart Center Chandler
Sprinter of Chandler

I'm told the security guard stayed inside and watched the car be ripped apart but wasn't about to go out and try and chase them away:eek: ...... Smart man.

If you look closely, you can see where they chewed the corners of the bumper, bumper supports and lower air dam to shreds.

Unfriggin' believable!

Holy crap! That's insane. Too bad about the car. They must have been extremely hungry.. I've never seen them do anything like that. I've had them trap our cat underneath my car, and they just left (maybe afraid of the old Buick eh?). Off topic.. What model is that white two door in the second picture? Or the black one farther out.. Really awesome looking!

With the full disclosure laws on cars I wonder how they'll explain it to a buyer.

I sorta wondered that myself, but if it turns into an insurance claim I would think it would classify as 'vandalism' or possibly even an "act of god".....

But I don't know, that stuff is above my pay grade........:D

Wonder if they have it on security cameras? Would think a Mercedes dealer would have them.
