#1. The thread was closed at the request of several guys THAT ARE YOUR FRIENDS that appeared to be worried about your health. It says plainly I gave permission to other admins to open the thread for DAVE to post if he would like. Maybe if you would quit acting like you have been wronged and simply take the time to read you may not be in the situation you are in now...
#2. ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS PUT A CHECK IN THE MAIL LIKE YOU HAVE BEFORE. There was no need for me to call you, there was nothing to discuss. Your only responses to me were to call you. I don't need to call you, YOU NEED TO SEND ME A CHECK. Not sure why that is so complicated for you to comprehend....
#3. I haven't twisted anything. You came on here yesterday acting like a big ass baby throwing a tantrum and that you were going to quit. You wanted everyone to say poor Dave please don't quit. I got news for you, I don't need you or your money. Like I have told you before just because you paid vendor fees it does not make you special. It means you can promote your business.... Did you not post "MOST HAVE SEEN THIS ON FACEBOOK ALREADY?" That was an obvious shot at the board. There again, play dumb innocent Dave....
#4. What possible alternate motive could I have? This just shows how paranoid and how much of a little coward you are.... All you had to do was pay what you owe. I DID YOU A FAVOR BY LETTING YOU BACK ON AFTER YOU STIFFED ME LAST TIME. Again after letting you back on you got a big head and acted like some one owed you and you where special. Instead of being the nice Dave and saying "what can I do to get back on" I get the smart ass call xxx-xxx-xxxx. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO CALL YOU DAVE. I HAVE NO DESIRE TO CALL YOU DAVE. YOU OWE ME DAVE NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

I just read through both threads and all I can think is OMG!! From what I have read I have some thoughts. It seems as though Shane sent a Email to Dave requesting he pay. Dave responded by giving his phone number asking to be called. I assume the reason he wanted you to call was to discuss his advertising (scrolling banner)? No phone call? No money.
For this to be aired out in public on here is wrong at every level.
Shane. I can't blame you for wanting to be paid. However maybe there was a reason for non payment? I have owned my own business and from my experience there is "usually" a reason when someone doesn't pay. Maybe there was a problem with the service provided or maybe they just didn't have the money. I also worked selling construction equipment. My commission wasn't paid until the customer paid. Guess what? I would Make phone calls every week to find out why a customer didn't pay. By doing this I had better relationships with my clients.
You say that you have other businesses that are profitable and pay your bills? I guess everyone you deal with always pay on time? I HIGHLY doubt it! How do you handle that? Keep sending Emails hoping someday you might get an answer? I'm retired and don't even have time to check my Email daily.
I was compelled to write this for several reasons. I don't know you, and I have had limited dealings with Dave.
1. This matter should have been handled privately. It doesn't matter that Dave posted speaking of a product he has so don't use that as an excuse for publicizing this. When you saw that he made a post would have been a good time to call him and maybe say "Dave I saw you made a post. Is there a reason why you haven't paid yet" Blah, Blah, blah. You seem to have found the time to go on and on bashing Dave, I'm quite sure if you called him you would have spent less of your VALUABLE time.
2. The name calling is very distasteful. It really shows a lack of character. I guess all the other vendors should be warned! don't be late paying your bill!! I'm pretty sure that most of the vendors on here are doing YOU a favor advertising on your site. Without them you would probably have to shut it down.
My advice: Value all of your customers. Give Dave a call and work this out. And lastly grow up!!
