Hey guys, getting ready to order the turbo for my new stroker 109 and I cant make the decision between the 70GTQ and 72GTQ, my question is how big is the difference in street manners and spool time going to be between the 2? I have a 3800 stall, and about 20 extra cubes blowing on it, just curious, my plan is to not have to purchase another turbo for this car so I want something I wont outgrow with the goal of a mid to high nine street car....any input would be great, Thanks, Ryan

If high 9's are your goal the 70GTQ will get you there no problem. There are cars deep in th 9's with a 70GTQ.

If you want to make more hp keep the 70 compressor and go gts exhaust wheel and a/r. If your using a 4 bolt set up without reducing spool times. You really need a loose converter. the 76 wheel is just too heavy. Here is a comparison of a 76 gtq vs a 71 gts.

So what about the 72 4 bolt d bb s trim with the new F1 wheel from turbonectics? I would think that it will spool like that 70 gtq. Oh I hope so since Jack is sending me one.
