I'll start this thread like I start all my threads.. Im a newbie.

I just installed a few upgrades, basic stuff:

scannmaster, fuel pump, 60lb injectors matching chip from full throttle, maf lt1 and translator, adj.waste gate 16psi boost, tranny cooler..

My dyno numbers :

HP 279

Torque 361

I havent had the chance go to the track, my goal is to get to high 12's. I dont think im there yet..

What kind of HP's and TQ would I need to get to 12's.

What other upgrades (not Alky for now) would be best for my combo.

Appreciate your feedback.

Just to add to the dyno results, the run conditions were bad hot and humid according to the print out the outside temp was 88 and 50% humidity..

install alky, you'll be glad you did,
it will save you from damaging your motor.

They are uncorrected numbers, I live in NYC, it was Dyno'd on a very hot an humid day.
I really dont understand the diffrence in the correct vs un....

corrected just factors in elevation, temp...so on, so ideal conditions. Uncorrected is your real numbers regardless of temp, elevation or whatever.

The dyno itself makes a difference, dynojet or mustang...they are different and will give different reading...neither is really better just different

Corrected number always look better because they extrapolate the numbers to sea level and ideal conditions. If you're bench racing, that's the ones you want.

Uncorrected numbers are the ones that matter.

Nice, let us know how it turns out at the track! My car is modded about like yours with stock injectors and it rana best of 12.65 with DRs, n race gas so yours should have the potential for more. Good luck

Very impressive numbers. I dont understand how the numbers are that high on a basically stock car. Makes me wonder about where mine is. Lol

HP 279 , that's about 328 at the flywheel , Torque 361 , about 425 at the fw . calc w/ about 15% drivetrain losses. Stock ratings are 245 & 355 at the fw. stock cars ran 13.9 ( most likely 2.0 short time ) to 14.6 ( also weather dependent ) figure every 10Hp is .10 of a sec but these cars are all about low end Torque though so getting off the line quickly is what it's all about. 425 - 355 = 70 ft lbs . so that's at least .70 sec so 13.9 - .70 = 13.2 with same 2.0 short time. get the car to hook up like a 1.6 - 1.7 short time & that's easy 12.6 - 12.8 1/4 with good weather conditions. All of this is easy for me to say only because I've read so much here up, down, & backwards. That will be my goal once i get my car back on the road.

I really appreciate everyone's feedback. I'm looking ahead. What would be my next mod. I'm thinking front mount ic. And cold air. What kind of gains can I expect ?

You say no Alky, then ponder a front mount intercooler. I don't get that at all. Way more to be had with Alky and cranking up the boost, compared to adding a front mount, imo.

Why no alky?

Im not completely ruling it out. I feel like I'm not keeping the car's integrity intacted. While I have made mods, they are not major. I bought the car bone stock, trying to stay close as possible.

A front mount at your hp level would almost be useless IMO it mite have some benefit but you may be causing more problems then its worth unless you have the upgraded cooling system to go along with the front mount I don't know if a 20+ year old cooling systems is going to meet the demands of the restricted air flow of a front mount with ac or stop and go traffic the front mount at your level would be more of a cool guy part then go fast lots of these cars in low 11's high 10's with stock in place intercoolers maybe a scanmaster, alky kit a new upgraded computer chip and a good set of drag radials to start with all that would be close to the cost of a front mount plus it would give you a chance to learn a little bit about your car as you go that what makes these cars fun is the learning experience along the way mite as well make it as painless as possible
