I have an Ethenal Content Analyzer installed in my -6 return line with the E85 Flex fuel sensor and I have been to multiple station in the NW Suburbs and have yet to see anything high than E79 out of the Pumps.

Has anyone seen true E85 lately ( in the last week)?

If so what station?

would this be winter blend still??

JM

I went there 2 weeks ago and used the pump closest to the street and only got E79...I have the ethenol Flex fuel sensor in my return line-maybe my sensor is incorrect?

what pump did you use? Maybe the one closest to the front door by the register?

When is the last time you got fuel from there?

This is also the station on Algonquin and Randall correct?by the lifetime fitness

I used a pump closer to the road. Closest one to the center. Thornton's at Algonquin and Oak Street. By Fradilios.

Man, I tested Shell a few weeks back -- two stations near me with the Quick Fuel Tube analyzer and haven't saw in the E60 area. Won't go there again anymore. Tested the Thornton's in Park Ridge on Touhy twice in the past two weeks and it's been E85ish or above.

Lloyd-is this the address of the Thortons your talking about?
1118 W Touhy Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068

im going to go there tommorow-i need to burn out some of the E79 I have in my tank first....WIll report my findings

This is from about 20 minutes A ago. Thornton's on Algonquin rd. In Lake In The Hills. 89%

Two testers have been pretty consistent with each other, but they are the same brand tester.

so i had 5 gallons left over in my tank that showed E75 on the display and I went to the Thortons in Park Ridge tonight and filled up with their fuel(E85)...about 10 gallons added and now the readout on the sensor shows E78-79....Im not sure this sensor will ever match what your tester is showing??
