Looks great. Was thinking of doing that with my ATR headers and DP. how fast was the turn around time?

everything pictured was $315, It is fully coated inside and out. Turn around time was a week or two. I think its the best $315 I ever spent on the car and I only wish I did it sooner.

is that from how they looked stock? to that or have then been polished then done? No matter what its a sharp clean look.

thats quite reasonable. only time will tell how good it is tho. looks great either way

looks great..... dunno about coating inside of exhaust components pre-turbo or on the exhaust hsg.... but only time will tell.... keep us updated, after install and run time. price does seem very nice.... like asked previously, did they polish the parts too??? ex. hsg looks smooooth:cool:

Yea they look great, hurry up and get them on, and few heat cycles through them, and lets see them then. I need some stuff coated. Thats a great price if they hold up.

There are alot of people out there who have already proved ceramic coating, its nothing new:rolleyes: ..This 7 second vette has been finished for years and you can see the hot parts (including turbine housings) look stellar.

As far as prep work, I did nothing at all with the manifolds, just un-bolted them and put them in the box. The PTE turbine housing was brand new and I did polish it with a sanding disk first, then a scotch brite wheel on a grinder to buff out the sanding marks. I only spend about 20-30 minutes on it total. (turbo is a 5857 to replace my stock turbo)

They did my stuff in 2000 degree black, great price and great finish. I had the silver 1600 on my ATR headers and it came off.

Good point Sack, the black coating is usually a higher heat rating, however i have never heard of the silver "coming off" of a properly tuned engine. I think it probably just turned dull after a year or so. Dull silver is still waaay better than rust.

That's cermakrome....... Looks great, your coater did a outstanding job.
and that $ for those parts is more than fair. It has to be applied properly and vibratory polished to achieve that level of shine.

It did flake off, and car wasn't run that hard. It was done by HPC.

Sounds about rite, when I called to see if they got my parts he said "They have been coated and are currently being polished".

Yeah rmar is our local Powdercoating SPECIALIST:wink:

..... but going back to my post "....only time will tell" ... I KNOW ceramic coating is nothing new, hell i have had 3 different exhaust housings coated, downpipes coated, intake pipes coated.... MY ONLY CONCERN would be coating the inside of exhaust components PRIOR to the turbo.... it is FACT that some coatings flake off over time when subject to EXTREME heat, like that found in turbocharged applications, when wheels are spinning at 100,000 RPM and solids hit it – will there be damage?....dunno.... the flakes could be harmless, they could cause problems.... MY ceramic coater advised against coating the inside of exhaust components PRE turbo..... which is why i posted 'only time will tell..... KEEP US UPDATED

.... they did do a helluva job... and it was smart to sand/smooth down the hsg.... makes all the difference IMO... i will have to steal that trick for my next turbo.... although i will go with the 2000º black

Who's HPC? Apparently, another clip joint powder coater who is only interested in taking your money. My coating didn't flake off, but compared to the pictures the OP provided, it might as well have. $175 for just the two headers. In comparison, they look like $hit.

HPC is high performance coatings in Oklahoma. It's not a fly by night outfit. I had them do my steel downpipe in 1999 and it loomed good for years. Stainless is a different animal and the coating didn't stay on.
