TY.. they sure save your paint.Insert in the front is so you can leave it on the car while running it and tuning.

Do you have one with a cut out for the emblem on the header panel for the t-types

Shout out for "Reaper". I have one and it works great. Totally protects your fender as you work on the car.

Priced good the other company that sells these Is higher than u only difference is that they offer a monogrammed emblem in grille area.

We don't have machine to do that.also need to get permission form buick
To use the logo.

Of course it is not a copy

This is because the other company which is my company sent the Ultimate Fender Cover to GM to be authorized. We pay royalties and this is my wife's design. We pay royalties on all GM items that have the GM logo on it. It is bad enough when the chinese try to copy but when it happens in my home state that is really a kick in the nads. I have had other Buick vendors tell me why bother creating products when it just gets copied. I know exactly what Jason was telling me now.

You are 100% correct Bill, and unless he is a paying vendor here, this should NOT be advertised for sale here.

Shane will have the ultimate decision in this matter.

Well lets look at the some stuff here.
1.If you had a problem you should have PM'd me about it and not aired it on the forums.
2.Your Info: Join Date May 2001:confused:but you only have 3 posts:confused::confused::confused: counting the one here so no PM to you.WOW you are a plethora of information.
3.You said you pay royalties on GM logos - ok, good for you, mine doesn't have a GM logo
4.You said It is bad enough when the chinese try to copy but when it happens "in my home state that is really a kick in the nads". Well sry if it feels that way, it was not my intention at all. I have several friends who have one - one is for a Z car and one is for a Grand National. A company in Australia makes one, there is one for several Z car styles as well as some BMWs, there is also a guy that makes a universal one with magnets. I wanted one and my wife made me one - she researched the various designs and styles and made this one. She made a pattern out of plastic, just like an upholsterer would do when reupholstering boat seats or car seats. Are you saying that everyone that has one has copied yours?
5.You complaining that it is a copy is like saying Pypes copied Hooker on the cat back exhaust or Nitto copied BFG's drag radial idea. Burger King copied McDonald's and then Wendy's came next. How many automobile makers are there today? Guess they all copied Henry Ford.
6.I sent Shane a PM on becoming a vendor as well.

If I had a job, I'd love to have one. My Buick Fender covers scratch the heck out of my fenders. Nothing wrong with a little competition!

I agree. People make similar products all the time so it's up to the buyer to decide where to spend his or her hard earned cash.

Why should he be made to be a vendor here? There are people that sell tons of items in the vendors section and don't pay to be a vendor here.

I could see if he's selling hundreds of these but over 3 or 4 home made items?

The reason for being a paying vendor is really pretty simple. The vendors that are here pay to have their name on the board to advertise what they sell. If you want to sell multiple new items that are identical ( even just three fender covers ) you should have to play by the same rules as the paying vendors...OR sell your items to a paying vendor and let them sell for you.

Even those people who only advertise 3 new identical items may get hundreds of orders via PM without ever advertising again.

I do not know what it costs to become a vendor here, maybe it is out of reach for most, whatever the case, rules are rules and i would have to agree with them.
