Well after replacing the solenoid and converter, i went with the last part in the chain, the front pump. When we disassempled the front pump we found the pump vane reatiner ring broken and pump vanes laying in there!!!
The piece that broke off of the retainer ring was stuck in the TCC valve keeping it stuck.
Well at least we found the problem. This was all on a bone stock car as well!
