I was told to trace wiring to locate ground out problem or wire too hot- Symptom I am having is car runs then upon shifting or standing on pedal it blows fuse fuel pump system - Any ideas where & what area wire problem could be ?
help by filling out your signature at the bottom of your post. That way everyone will have a basic idea of what we are dealing with. Otherwise we are just shooting in the dark. the wiring harness to the pump goes to the back of the car on the drivers side, over the wheel well towards the ds rear tail light. You can see the plug connection there with a grd wire coming from the connector. It passes thru the trunk to under side of the bumper fillers and to the top of the f/tank to the pump connector.
The problem could be anything from a dirty tank/sock, to a tap on the feed wire by the d/s kick panel, used to power an additional accessory.
