I can get good pull up to about 20 psi, and it is configured to go 24 psi.
When the boost goes beyond 20 psi, it feels like the car is going up a hill, but still holds boost.
My guess is that timing is severely retarding after 20psi, why I have no clue.

I currently run a 50/50 mix of 110 and 93 octance and it has showed the same symptoms. with full 110.

Note: knock gauge is not showing any knock.

The car is configured as:

TT 93 octance chip
ported stock heads
stock block bored .030 wit nice shiny internals
208 cam
36# injectors
3" dp w/adjustable wastegate
2.75" dual exhaust
stock intercoler
rjc boost controller
knock guage

no scanmaster ( I know...)

really difficult to help without numbers. Your car could be running super lean, but we don't know your O2's at WOT. I personally would lower the boost to 18 or less until I get a scanmaster. No point in running that much boost without everything needed to monitor.

Yeah I am going to lower the boost.

And, it's very difficult to know exactly if you have a 50/50 mix, unless you are literally draining the tank EVERY time, and then applying 50/50 of each gas product you're using.

Being rich will make it do that. Does it feel like its knocking? What's your fuel pressure #s? Its going to be impossible to tell you what to do with out some sort of SM #'s.

The 93 timing in the chip with the high octane fuel (which needs more timing to burn properly) coupled with it probably being rich will make it feel like a pig. Don't experiment without a SM though. The 110 will take out the O2 sensor quick and make it idle rough and drive rough.

You'll need a SM to change anything in the chip settings anyway.

I doubt its going lean unless the fuel pump is not keeping up thats how mine runs when it's getting to much fuel at wide open throttle rpm levels out at 5300 with no increase boost stays at 24-25 it almost fills like valve spring float but when I make a fuel correction it takes care of the problem my knock gauge also shows no knock under this condition.what kind of boost was the tt chip set up for?

The purpose of me saying that it's "probably" running super lean was to just re-iterate that we'll remain in the dark until we get some numbers. That wasn't my diagnosis. Suggesting to lower the boost is just the safest thing for him to do until he do one of two things: 1)buy a scantool so we actually have something to go on, OR 2)run a consistent fuel oppose to mixing so we can eliminate certain possibilities. :)

To be sure it is not running lean, I would hook up a fuel pressure gauge that I could see when the car is in boost.

If it is running rich, the plugs will tell you that. :)

Either way, it can take out a head gasket at the minimum.

I double-checked some hose clamps and one of the hose clamps that clamps to the turbo to the IC was not 100% tight, but broken.
Some of the other hose clamps I tighten some more, maybe that is the culprit?

I am going to order a scanmaster today.

I Would be curious to know what his setup is turbo size injectors ect.
Sorry, 36# injectors, stock turbo
I would figure it would stutter and puke if it was starving, but I need to change the plugs anyways and see if it is lean or rich

Your setup is close to what I ran back in 2007 I never had much luck running over 22 lbs of boost with that setup and stock heads and air intake I never really adjusted the timing in the chip I have read on hear that some have turned up the boost to 25+ on stock turbo with success mine just never seemed to gain much past 22 lbs. now when I went to ported heads dutts neck 60 lb injectors 44 te turbo and the chip reburned to 24-25 ins of boost it did quite well

Heads are ported as well as a mild cam.
I this issue seemed to recently start.

I would be looking at duty cycle on injectors and the fuel pump pressure my car will also run like you describe if I mixed race gas with 93 without turning the ally off

Thanks I will look into it.
