SignUp Now!I already ordered them and paid for them on the 13th of January. They haven't returned my calls. I was hoping that they were so busy that they couldn't return calls.Call Tom at Champion Racing and order some. They probably have them on the shelf. Or call, Cottons, Full Throttle, GBody parts. I think they're all vendors for Champion. (GN1 head makers)
too patient especially with NO communication.I already ordered them and paid for them on the 13th of January. They haven't returned my calls. I was hoping that they were so busy that they couldn't return calls. So, did anybody get a set lately? Our track just reopened this year after a 1 year hiatus. I guess I'm a little impatient.
Are they a vendor on this board in good standing???? Good luck.

If you are talking about Champion not returning your calls, I know the feeling. Messages left with a woman there SEVERAL times. Never received a return call to get my head fixed...Good luck.

That statement is a bit discouraging....
I have Champions on my car. I would hope the customer service they provided in your case is simply an anomaly, as I have heard nothing but positive things about this company.
Maybe another call to them might help? There's always that ONE employee that just doesn't seem to get it.
I would give Champion another try. I'll bet provided a second chance they will make it right.
Let us all know how it works out, please.
I had to take a different route...It is not the first time that calls to Tom were not returned. I guess I am not in the club...
Someone told me to just send my heads down to him and have them fixed. I then read a thread about someone that had been waiting a LONG time for head reapair and no communication, so I decided I wanted to get a timeframe for repair from them before shipping my heads...
I seriously wish I had bought TA heads in hindsight...

You know, I feel like I'm at all the vendors mercy and I shouldn't. Seems like if I'm not some dude that has been dealing with these cars for 20 some odd years, I get the "hey dumbazz" attitude. I have a problem with my roller cam kit I bought where a lobe is touching an adjacent lifter. When I called, I got a hint of attitude where I didn't know what I was talking about. I gave him the benefit of the doubt (I was having a bad day after I found out about that so it could of been me). I have bad days too but, when you have such a small community buying parts for these cars and limited vendors, I would be the vendor to kiss your butt to get your business instead of making you feel you have to kiss their butt. It takes just a minute to call and say "hey, your castings came in and we will get started soon" or something to that nature. I dropped almost $6,000 in parts the past couple of months. The attitude with some of these folks with these cars is somewhat ridiculous. I'm sure they crawled before they walked. I guess that's one of my main complaints.
My wife has the same problem! Some guys where born knowing everythingand act like it.
So i disagree on the "crawled before they walked" comment.
