Drove to LVD in NY for street night. I ran slicks even though we werent supposed to. The info ill give is this: 80 degrees, open exhaust, 3600 lbs, 1.66 60' (only 8 psi launch, needed 14-15 psi with the tight converter), 24.5 psi through most of the run (it went to 25.5 then right back to 24.5 in 1st on launch), a/f was 11.4-11.5:1 through the whole run (turbo tweak chips are awesome) at 24.5 psi, everything in my sig. Good luck:biggrin: .

10.95@124mph Get some bigger Injectors and a good 60ft 10.80's ;)

For your 50lb injectors to work efficiently at 80% Your fuel psi regulator would have to be set at 63psi . If your set at 43psi your at 100% on the duty cycle. This is with running 24.5 psi boost

I'm selling my 72 siemens w/ TT chip if your interested? They have 300mi on them.
I payed $428 for the chip & inj. on 2/5/07 from Eric
I'll sell them for $350 let me know.

I was at 70-75% duty cycle no need for more injector with 43.5psi baseline. Ive got 72's and 83's at my disposal. Thanks for the offer though. My DIY alky is supplying a decent amount of the total fuel. I actually pulled 5% to get the a/f's i had of 11.4-11.5:1. Theres no need for more mph than i ran anyway on the stock bottom end. Ill be driving over the crank. This engine has over 100k on the stock bottom end:eek: . I got it form 57loboy last summer. Just got around to playing with it. Without the alky it would be at around 12.6:1. That would be too lean. Therefore you are correct about your dc's not considering the alky. Didnt want to leave too hard on the stock input with the t-brake hence the 1.66. Would have gone low 1.50's with 12-14 psi launch. They politely asked me to stop running after my first pass. No cage in the car:frown: .

so..........

what did it run? I am sure it will get faster soon

Not on this engine with the stock bottom end. Its actually went 1 mph more than my own comfort level on a stock bottom end in a 3600lb car. But it was my first pass on it and i got the boot for no cage:rolleyes: . The engine that will be going in this car next year surely will. Ill probably throw this one or another spare i have in the blue car and put the crazy engine in this car since its getting a cage this fall. Ill post the times in a day or so.

Under-Pressure guessed the closest. I ran 10.885@126. Not bad for a light launch in the 80 degree heat. This was a stock engine that i took used stuff off the shelf to build. Only things i spent money on besides the block(last year) that were new were the gaskets, fluids, and chip. . It has 143K on it:eek: . Didnt know till i just checked now. Proves its easy to go 10's. Here it is: :http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/parts-sale/192626-87-turbo-engine-sale-ct.html

That is OUTSTANDING....all that for what? 600-700 buckaroos?
Can't get much better than that.....
Enjoy
