Hey Jay, I'm sure you're aware but AI bots have been searching for info and chocking up OTHER boards to the point members get pissed and create threads each week on it. LOL
The Pontiac board at times will literally have 10k plus bots and sometimes hit 20k. That board freezes and the 50+ members actually using it in that time period can't get on and it ruins the experience.
You seem pretty slick with all this but just a heads up, they're 6k strong today and the pages are loading slower than normal.
Maybe a limit to say 2500 guests etc and then the search bots fight it out to get in?
Curious what you think about all this and the future of these things doing more searches as people use them everyday.
While they add value in answering questions other people ask that concern our platform, they are greedy little things and might start hitting big numbers here as time goes on and start diminishing this forum too.
If you need to create a Fight The Bots donation button, that might be a fun way to add extra/new features to limit the Terminators.
