** My sister's boyfriends neighbor's dog died, and we had to drive to LA for the funeral. [Used the $$ you sent for gas money. I now have no $$ for frt.]
** I've had the flu and my mom refused to mail the parts.
** I can't find a box that's big enuf.
** I'm suffering from "LDS", and I'm too depressed to go out in public.

Just wait a bit. Once the heat is turned up, some excuse such as these, will be offered.
