Not clear title for this thread, I'll explain:

My tranny starts out from a stop in 1st gear, as it should, except if I have the shifter in manual second gear position. If the gear selector is in second, that's where the car will start out it's roll from, second.

Can't take it back to the original shop (2,000 miles away). Been like this for years, since the last rebuild.

That's a strange one Dave. I think that one would need some exploratory. Sounds like a cross leak somewhere.

I was afraid someone was going to ask about line pressures. I'm out here in East TN and don't have ready access to a tranny shop I would trust.

Bruce the tranny is full of your best billet parts, built by Don. Not pointing fingers by any means, because it's really not a problem that carries much of a priority. After all, who goes around starting from lights with the shifter in 2nd?

Just hoping someone may have seen or heard of this unusual problem.

BTW Bruce, I STILL haven't been able to break any of your parts!!! How long has it been now? At least 5-6 years I think. That billet forward clutch drum shaft has been a godsend!. Don probably got tired of replacing them for me until we upgraded.

Your car is acting like a Ford. Have you been parking it next to the Excursion? :p

Give me a shout and YOU can ck line pressure with one of our gauge setups. Good thing to have for many reasons.
Call me and we will discuss this.
I am smiling that you are pleased with our products.
