Need to get some new drag radials before the Nats. BG is the only 1/4 mile track I race on. Everything else is 1/8 mile. I don't have many mods, the GN's not that fast, and I'm running the stock 3.42 rear. For mostly 1/8 mile which would be better 235-60-15 or 275-60-15?

Regarding BFG or M/T, which will get you more runs? Any particular compound I should be looking for that works best on an 87 GN.

Thanks.

235 or 255 60 15's will be fine for you. I'd say the tires last about the same. I have had both, and I think the M\T are better for the steet fun. 275 60 15 are for cars that trap 115 or better from what I have read here.

i would go with the 235=-60-15 and the bfg they are lighter than the et drag radial and seem to last longer i have ran both hope this opinion helps

Thanks for the quick replies. Any other opinions are appreciated as well.

I would run the 275/50-15 which are the same height as the 235 but each tire is almost 2 inch's wider. I have always ran the BFG's for drag radials and Mickey's for sliks just do not be afraid to run the air pressure in the low teens.

I'd go for the 255s .. ran em for years on Melissa's old mid 11 set up .. I would think the 275/50/15s have to stick out the wheel well
