hello peoples; I just came across a new Camaro SS in the parking lot. Looks cool with the rear spoiler and the red stripe on the rims. The tires are 21".
Looks like a hot rod and I believe it's the same guy who also has an older vette as I was looking at that also. He made a nice diaplane (front lower spoiler) for it and the fit and finish worked.

I love the looks of a new Camaro. I've only driven one. It was supercharged and at the time was making roughly 740 to the wheels (now it's around 840). Car was bad assssss! I know a stock one would be just a complete let down now, though. LOL

Went to NED Wednesday night. There was a new SS Camaro there. Think it just had an intake. Ran low 13s. Don't remember if it was a stick or auto.

I think those cars are a disgrace to GM nameplate:rolleyes:.Too heavy, independant suspension and no HP from the factory oh and over $50k up here:eek:.I think the Mustang is just a better package;)

I have driven a SS manual Camaro. Nice ride due to the weight. The aftermarket is flooded and will be great for building them up as street/strip toys as always. As far as track times I can't complain since they always seem to put up the mid to low 13 and occasionally high 12 second slips with traction a a few simple bolt-ons. Overall, I would buy a used auto SS for $13-15k when they get there. I belive it will ride better and not sound like every panel and weld is loose after 5 or 6 years like the Mustangs and previous gen f-bodys. I would dare try to mod one until the warranty was over. Who the heck would I really race and beat? A Maxima or Buick Lacrosse... :o I prefer the looks of the Challenger SRT-8 out of the three. I think everything new is overpriced so if I wanted a newer used vehicle that was fun to drive and I could mod later TBSS or Jeep STR-8

if ur ok with 8-9 mpg then both are great vehicles. id prefer the tbss but in a 2wd

I love my Jeep SRT-8, mileage sucks but the rest is great, stop light to stop light it is VERY tough to beat.

I backed a customers Camaro SS out of my friends shop the other day.Nice car but I couldn't stand the blind spots.

There is one in my area that is supercharged. He is running 7.20s in the eighth mile. Not to bad I would say.

Yup, can't see for squat out of that thing, and my golf clubs wouldn't fit in the trunk.
