For a nice quality rim, the price is right. Spoke interlaced rims are very difficult to make compared to a traditional 5 spoke. Go out and price some Simmons OM rims...$800 each and thats with a fairly good discount and included lugs, mounting and balancing...I know I just bought some for the TA.

The price is a little steep, considering that there are some very nice wheels out there that are cheaper. Here is an example: http://www.ccwheel.com/files/wheelprofiles-model.php?id=classic

these wheels are of a 3 piece construction and BAD AZZ, OMO. And they are only $2140 a set with black anodized center and cheaper fully polished! I have a set on order now for my Impala and thinking of getting another for my TR.

Price is alittle steep, theres alot of similar wheels for alot less. I think you may get stuck holding the bag on these wheels at this price.Personally I never cared for the gnx style wheel.

Mike, Any chance of getting both? 17 up front and 18's out back? What date do you think they will be ready.

Granted, these are out of my range, but less unsprung mass costs money, and lots of it. Not unlike building an engine, cost increases exponentialy with performance. Fortunately, the curve isn't as steep for turbo Buicks as for pretty much anything else.
