We are in the final process of making our new GNX type wheels. Forged hoops, with cast and heat treated centers. Will accept our custom center cap or the stocker. Anyway the question is what sizes to make them in I can pick 2 so vote with what you would want. width will be 8, 9.5/10 and 11.5
Thanks,
Mike

17s though I wonder what they will look like. I dislike most of the knockoffs.

The center will be very true to the original design. The lip will be a soft newer style design. Likely 60 to 90 days away everything is reasy we have to make the tooling for the center but we need to finalize the diameter. We can make 2 from the tooling eith 16/17 or 17/18 looking at tires available there is less and less in 16 but we want to know what you want, black will be dtandard color but we will be happy to powder coat them in any color you like. Target price will be about $2399 a set in the size and color of choice.

Will the lips be rolled edge or squared with steps in them?
Will the lips be polished or machine cut? with or without clearcoat?

No steps, Polished, no clearcoat

I voted 17", but for that much $$$ you can take my vote back. Not complaining, cuz I know it takes a lot of money for tooling, and you're not going to sell 100,000 sets of these, but I can't justify paying $600 a wheel and then another $600+ for tires.

There are other lower priced wheels out there. G-Body parts has some really nice stuff for around $1800 outright ($1300 if you send it your stock wheels) But those are reconditioned old wheels. These are all brand new and you can keep your stock wheels. Quality like this and tooling to make an all new wheel is not cheap ;)

I don't really want to sell that many I don't think we could make them
How much did you think they would be? Have you priced other top quality wheels?
Mike

That's just the thing though, I think if people are gonna drop that kinda coin on wheels they are gonna want something more flashy. more bling for the buck ya know? I don't know anyone that would drop that coin for wheels on a daily driver, maybe that's not your target buyer though?

Mike,
I'm not knocking the price, quality or anthing like that. I know this isn't cheap. What I meant by the 100,000 comment was that I know you're not going to get the economies of scale that cragar or weld get when they sell thousands of the same wheel. I knew they wouldn't be cheap, but that is more than I'm willing to put into a set of wheels for a car that has 208,000 miles on it.

I think you've done the buick guys a great service with all of your products, and I continue to support you when I buy stuff. My brother just spent a small fortune with you in the last couple of weeks on a maf and translator, modded ecm, and a lot of goodies to go along with a monster he's putting under the hood.

Point is, I'm not knocking the price, it's just that my car isn't worthy of a set of wheels like that! ;) I just didn't want my vote to skew the count.

Thanks, your vote counts no matter what. Who knows maybe you will luck intoa low mile cream puff some day and say "hey I need a set of really expensive wheels for this" I want to be sure I have the right size. ;)

What happens 18mos from now if someone damages a wheel and needs a replacement? Will the company still have the tooling to turn another?
