We have enough buick owners to have a track rental..It ends up costing about $100 a person with at least 12 people..If we end up short some people, we could always invite some corvette guys..I'm up anytime for a get together, during the week, or just one on one..I have a pool table too....We could play for car parts..:)

Tracey....how but an alky kit? I got it,but we need a nozzle.

As far as my plan this weekend. If we want to do a group meeting I would prefer Sat PM. As I have a garage full of engine parts and tranny parts that need to start getting put together. My credit cards have been getting used this week. It's like Christmas everyday.

Anybody got a spare timing chain tensioner bolt?

Lowes that Funny Ron, Linda and I are in Sunday or Saturday works for us. Fence is going up today, can finally let the boy'z run free no leashes.....still got a Mud issue though.....their fixing that as well.....Tiki hut will come later.....

Got another story for you guys!

Today was my birthday. Went and had dinner at the Melting Pot. Great place, in case any of you haven't been. Anyways, the wife and I were in the GN. We took the long way home....to the beach, down General Booth to Dam Neck. Dam Neck to Princess Anne.... All the way back to Independance. Anyways, we drove through the parking lot for all the new places at Dam Neck and Princess Anne (Kohls, Petsmart, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc)... On the way out of the parking lot, getting onto Princess Anne, I pull out right behind an 07 or 08 Mustang GT. Black with 2 White Racing Stripes. Wide tires in the back, exhaust had been done. At the light I got next to him and he rev'd at me. I distinctly heard a blow off valve. He was boosted. He had nice pretty gauges on the piller... Plus a couple friends in the car. so when the light turned green, I let him get it first. as soon as he got about half a car on me, I floored it. Had him by about five or six cars within seconds and then I got out of it. He wouldn't get near me after the run. Guess he was embarrassed. I was going to give him another chance from a roll... oh well. What a great birthday present. hehe.. And to think, I'm only running 18#'s of boost right now... I can't wait to get this thing to the track....

Sooooo... speaking of Buffalo Wild Wings.... Are we all agreed on Saturday for lunch or dinner? I'm open to restaurants... but BWW is new to the area and is supposed to be pretty good....

Was just thinking.... Isn't there a rather large foosball game tomorrow? ;) Maybe we should plan on getting together next weekend. Saturday or Sunday is good for me!

GO TEXANS! um... eventually anyways... :p

Ummm football what's that? Only 2 weeks till Daytona 500. Short block is done, more to come tommorrow. Probably start the trans also. I have been busy:biggrin: .

Not too much because of the famous fooseball game, but I think next weekend will be good as well. Today I'll be getting new tires for the boss lady's truck and will be picking up my new rims and tires tomorrow. Let see how the car end up looking... :D

What did you end up getting? I finally went and looked at my sizes... my rears are 275/50 and my fronts are 215/60. 225/60 would have been just about perfect match. My front are about 8.5 mm shorter than the rears.

So I found my headlight covers that have been siting in the trunk for 5 years now. Finally got around to putting them on. What do you think? Also, what are the laws on these out here... In Texas, we had to take them off during times that you needed to use headlights. But it was okay otherwise...

Ron,

I went and bought the Drag Stars from Pacer. They look just like the Weld Drag Stars. I will be getting the tire for it this Friday. However, the says 15X8, which is the size I'm looking for but I'm a little confused with the offset and BS. Offset is 0" and BS is 4.75. I just left a comment on a post and hopefully I get good news!:D If not, I'll make it work. Nice headlight covers, are they hard to install? I have a brand new set that I bought years ago when I two N/A Regals and never got around it.

German

I had to trim the covers to fit. Just took a dremel and about 15 minutes. Not too bad at all.

I'm still not sure what offset / backspacing works. thankfully, mine were already on a regal before I got them, so I knew they'd fit....

4 1/8 on a 15x8 with 275/50 will work but it's close. Anything more than that you will need spacers. HTH

I've got a ton of room inside near the frame...thanks to Mosers... Had to roll the fender lip though...

Here's my weekend.....next weekend too.:D
