Your 60's are mint dude.......Is that off a transbrake? If not that is truly awesome!!

Nice work and def on your way!!!

Nice times!

Are you launching off a transbrake to get those kind of 60' numbers? What boost were you running?

200-4r with stageright brake
on beat up 275/60 MT radials inflated at 22psi
suspension is nearly stock
boxed stock lowers
stock uppers
no fancy bushings, look to be old OE
HR parts HD rear sway bar (awesome bar)
stock springs
no airbags

msbc-1 launch was set at 10psi which it holds at nicely

msbc-1 timered boost stages were set at 26/25/25 (4seconds per stage) with no ramping but vdo gauge showed only 23psi through third , i have had a second boost gauge installed and i tend to beleive the VDO is accurate

the tbrake is mechanical (engages at L1) but i have i have a leaf switch on shifter mechanism (from old MSD two step) which engages at L1 and allows 12v to pass through switch to engage the msbc-1 launch mode , rather than rig another switch i tied into that 12v switched line and connected a relay using it to ground the violet wire of the alkycontroller which lowers alky spray until the brake is released . before using the violet wire the alky would kill the 60ft by drowning the motor when trying for launches at anything over 6psi because of the dual nozzles .

:) we have plenty of ideas................It's getting them by the queen that's the problem.........

We have her talked into bigger tires...........We wanted both the brake and the tires.........We got 1 of the 2 and believe me, we'll take whatever she gives us.

ya I am reading  trying for next sat @ CC ... well providing it's still running  taking a 5 hr ride with it wed  drove it today in a little snow

Maybe she'll give in on the transbrake after seeing those video's. Very nice 60'. I'ld like to have a 60 like that.:(

Your my Hero :D

keeping things simple pay's off !!!!! Are you goin to the track anymore this year ???? ya know ... push a little more :p looking great !!

on another note NO brake for her ... She said she WILL get it straight with the footbrake  :p

i would like to make another , maybe cecil :),
car is overdue for a converter freshening , looks like 15% slippage , trap at 5900, i did make the 10.48 pass in OD (missed 3 on the shift and car shifted to 4th at 5550rpm at 543ft ,trapped at 5450

i had my o2s drop out once i hit third gear on the last two passes and only change was adding some fuel because the sun went away and temps had dropped , (had 1760-1780egts when previous runs were 1550-1600) and heat may have had an affect on the o2 sensor , no kR dispite 670-690 readings

so either i was rich and ignited in the exhaust pipes taking out the sensor or i have a fueling issue, maybe lost a pump , need to inspect and test all the relays to the pumps and the filter

Dang... That thing scoots.

Might be going to Cecil huh ? :D

[mumbles to self]My car is parked for the winter...my car is parked for the winter...racing season is over...racing season is over[/mumbles to self]
