o2 spikes in 3rd gear

SO .Im running this new combo and cant seem to get it tuned.I am running times like 11.06 @ 94 mph.The car is laying down bad in third gear .I sent BM computers some Direct scan files to look over .The o2 #s are in the high 7s and low 8s untill about 115mph. .On Turbo Link and Direct scan Im getting frames of 0 o2 #s at or around 100 to 115 mph.
Im running open loop with max effort.changed and checked coil packs,crank trigger,grounds ,voltage is 13.5 to 14.1 on the pass,
Im about ready to put the 50 lbers back in and my old chip to see what happens.I really dont think it is max effort related .I havent ran right however since the modded ecm was installed.the sad part is Im cutting better lites than ever and I need the car to run consistant next week .anyone Im listenin
PS; car is runng srrong in the 1/8 about 100mph and 6.70s

the changes are from 50s to 72s ,stock pistons to trw,maffless maxe,modded ecm and a 218 cam however I had the same problems with the old cam installed.basicly Im trying to figure out if it is fueling or ignition.my basic question is what causes eradic
spikes in the o2 voltages from the 700s to 200s or even 0.
last nite i disconnected directscan and used turbo link.I found 2 frames with 0 o2 volts
 
It sounds like you've made several changes in your setup. Try eliminating one by one till it makes sense.

Do you still have the 7th injector?

Just do some backtracking, and you'll figure it out, car will run fast when the bug is out.

Yea but it sure is more fun.
Ive been thinknig a bunch about it.I think I need to go leaner.The last time the car ran desent was when I only had 10v.After that Ive installed 2 XPs and found an elcectric problem with 14 V now
Also the car ran worse with real muggy air nd the best on the leanest position of max E .I just wonder if to much fuel
would cause the o2 spike
 
Bob, Pull the O2 sensor and check the ceramic in the end, if you shake it you can hear it rattle if its broken. I've had a few off brand O2s break/crack and cause problems at WOT, they always seemed to work fine on the street.
 
I've also had a few do that if the EGTs spike. Seems they really freak out with a high EGT.

And yes the stock O2s got to dodo at high EGTs.
 
Chris ,I desided to go outside the box.The MAX E-R said fuel pressure at the rail to be 42-44.I thought I would turn it down to 38 and go to a leaner setting on the thumbwheel.The first Pass it went 10.83 @ 1400 on the egt.I Knew then I had found the window I had Been Looking for.I told my wife I was their and leaned it down a little more changed the offset from 48 to 32 and pulled some fuel out of the X-Factor from 6 to 4 .next pass it went 10.50 @ 128 with a bad 60 'and still fat @ 1500 I then started tuning for Bracket Racing I turned the boost down to 24 and Dialed the car @ 10.75
.Had a good week overall .got in the semi finals and redlited.I hope to have some Money sent to me as I was told the GSCA paid out in the semis.THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP
