ended up with black GTA wheels. Jegs had them for a good price so I picked up 2 wheels with the correct offset.. now I need to locate some turbo 6 center caps.
before:
GTA wheels with a twist. I bought a complete set of front and rear GTA wheels and used the fronts on the rear with M&H 275/55/16 drag radials and sent the rears out and had then narrowed to 16X6's and put 215/60/16's on the front of the car. They took the 2" out of the rear of the wheel so now the wheels are 16X6 with 3" backspacing so they centered in the wheel wells nicely and car can be low with no rubbing. The 215/60's on 6" wheels shaved off some weight but are still rated to support the weight of the GN and still handle and brake pretty good. It seemed like a good compromise.
Wheels: Classic Industries 16x8 GTA 0 offset front and rear
Tires: BFG G-Force Sport Comp 2
Front: 245/50/16
Rear: 255/50/16
Brakes:
Front: Aerospace Pro Street 4 piston 11 3/4in rotors, modified stock spindles
Rear: stock aluminum drums w/ large shoes and cylinders
Vacuum brake conversion
Suspension:
Front: Stock A-arms, Eibach springs (1 coil removed), AC Delco shocks
Rear: UMI upper and lower control arms, H&R Parts sway bar, Eibach springs, AC Delco shocks
really like the look of the RTS wheels on these cars. What size will work on the 18" wheels with no modifications. I saw someone running 18x9 front with 4.75 bs and 18x10 rear with 4.75 bs.
