I have a new Precision PTB 500 billet 6262 680 hp rating. I would like to trade for a smaller turbo....thinking 5857E might be better for my combo. Thanks

This turbo is new, I was going to build another motor with new combo.ported heads, roller cam.6262, but its not going to happen this year. I was looking for trade , but if someone wants to make offer it can be bought looking for something around 585 hp - 600hp No stall required. Thanks

6131E is rated at 620..

I have a used Precision 6152E (600hp) (currently on my GN and has been since turbo was new) with less than 5k miles... Hasn't seen any tracks, just the occasional on-ramp. Turbo works perfect, but I want to go larger with my 3200 stall (factory stall will work well with this turbo). It spools very fast for me on a stock motor. Will put cash on top on my end.

The te61 in your sig (if its a 69 or 76 trim ex) will work better than anything mentioned if you run it at 25psi ir higher unless you keep the 6262 and run at the same boost. The 6262 will make more power if you run more boost/rpm.

Im in MO, if you decide on a Ca$H price , PM me... i don't NEED a turbo but if the price is right i would take it off your hands.... could possibly even meet you for pick up....if the weather was right

aaron

I sold the te61 when i bought the 6262. I have a ta-49 on my car now at 25# . Will the 6262make more powerand work with stock converter?

In my personally opinion, I wouldn't run a 6262 on a stock stall... I would recommend a 3-3200. I have the Art Carr 9" that stalls at about 3200 and I love it. Spools my 6152E to 25# very fast. On the stock TC my 6152E was pretty decent, but I felt it was about as big as I would ever go without a higher stall.

6152e is rated at 630,, ta49 is rated at 545

^ i agress with LOL@V8.. i would recommend nothing less then a 3K with the 6262

Didn't know that. Good info. I think im going to try a 6262 or 6266 next, or try the 6152 at 25+psi.

I'm also interested in the cash price for this 6262....

Turbo1962 you should just sell the turbo to me and buy what your looking for. Just need to know your asking price.

Im really sold on the 6262, Was looking for a 5758 and after alot of reading i feel that turbo will help me hit my over all goal with the car (10.99 quarter mile time).

anyone want to know what the 6262 looks like on the boost guage with a stock converter. PM your # and I will txt you a 10 sec clip from my car at a 55 roll to WOT. It has some lag out of the hole but once it starts to spool its pretty tough.
