I wanna replace the timing chain gaskets on my 231 nonturbo engine..
I read the haynes manual and it says to remove cooling hoses, distributor and fuel pump.. Why? And do i really have to?
I did a complete cooling system upgrade myself several months ago... so im familiar with taking most of the front stuff off.. But i dont see why i should remove those just to get to the timing chain. I know i'll need a puller for the balancer, etc..
Any information is delighted..
Thanks..
