Just received a 6.1 Alky Chip from TT Eric M. It is working prefectly out of the box but I have a question?

I do not run my WBO2 all the time, when I disconnect it will the chip default on its own to no correction? Or do I have to set Blocks 1,2,3 to 99 ? If I do set BLM 99 will it hold the last BLM value or default to 128?

I don't want to make a expensive mistake!
Thanks

Ok, so after some testing this is what I have learned.
If the WBO2 is disconnected or for some reason looses signal to the power logger and 6.1 or 6.0 chip the WBO2 signal drops to 9.0 AFR making the chip subtract 10% fuel from the WOT fuel BLM.
The only way to avoid this is to have Blocks 1,2,3 set to 99 if the WBO2 is disconnected.

If I am incorrect about this observation please let me know.

This should have been posted in the chips 101.

The chip needs the wideband connected. If not, you have to disable the wideband correctly manually. It doesn't know whether the wideband is connected or not.
You are correct that you need to set param 1,2,3 to 99 to disable it.

Eric

Thanks Eric,
Just wanted to be sure I understood the 6.1 instructions.
