Smokes at idle

Going to pull intake and will post findings

Im thinking its definitely not turbo givin plug condition and oil accumulation in plenum

not running a pvc

Well I have the intake off and there definitely looks like intake gaskets were not sealed. Intake ports all oily and valve stems all wet.... would that explain oil up in plenum though

Based on the pictures it looks like the intake isn't machined at the right angle where it mates to the heads.

That certainly seems to be the case....gonna have to ck angles

Update...Have not been able to find the source of the leak yet, have checked and rechecked everything except ....THIS

I am running ported Champion GN1s that were machined for 3/8 pushrods

could this have compromised a pushrod shaft allowing oil to be drawn in ?

if so can it be repaired?

Did you pull any of the springs off ? I just recently seen a Champion head seize a valve and guide creating wear from the guide moving up and down. Was smoking like crazy.

Think I may have found my problem I pulled the intake AGIAN to inspect intake runners on heads and this is what I found on all 6 of them ...got a feeling there not supposed to be there:mad:

Pic is a bit blurry but looks like something is poking through into your intake port. What is it? Rocker stud?

I just got a new set of brodix heads from jegs that are not even ported and every intake runner has a hole where the rocker stud comes through.
