Recepie:

- Some old tatty TTA parts (in my case I used the engine cross member, a-arms, front springs and some misc brackets)
- Have the ingredients sand blasted to give them a slightly rough surface
- Mix it all up
- Spray some nice powder on all the parts (in my case I prefer satin black)
- Bake in oven at 250 degrees centigrades for about 5-10 min until you have a smooth and nice surface
- Wait till parts cooled down
- Install and enjoy !

Maybe Michael Owen is helping you paint TTA parts to hasten the recovery from his latest injury?

Great work Jan. I was looking at your Project History page and noticed the refinished nuts, bolts and other parts and was wondering how you had them redone? Did you do it yourself or send them out? Thanks.

For bolts and stuff I have a local company (5 min away) where I know the owner that specialise in plating so I can get anything electroplated, they can strip any old painted stuff and electroplate it and it comes out better than new many times and is nice and rust proof. Some of the stuff I've clearcoated afterwards to make sure it lasts. This company do alot of stuff to the automotive supply chain as well as other industrial parts so the quality is very good. I just give them a box of stuff and pick it up a week later and they charge me a minimum amount for it.

All powder coating I got a company on the east side of London that do all my stuff at a decent price and with really good quality (http://www.vulcanshotblasting.com/) they do a lot of work for Lotus, Ford and others as well as massice stuff like gates and house hold appliances.

Jan looks like you have alot of time and money both well spent and worth it on your car. Looks great

I thought maybe you got some pain pills from Terrell Owens.

(I'm really tired of that story here in Dallas)

Sure takes a lot of money and time thats why I'm in no hurry with my project but it comes together nicely .... end of next week it should have everything back together ready for engine and trans ... but need the engine back from the machine shop and put that one together first :-)

And from time to time some pain killers would help with a project like this ;)
