Yes it's slower than the mother ship. I tried uploading a pic and it wouldn/t let me for some reason Jay. I finally just the the URL code but it looks like an entry and no links.

I havent moved the banners yet so if the old server was slow loading them, thats the problem. Its fast for me.. but the old server was fast for me too.

Its time consuming trying to move this thing because the server its coming from is ANCIENT and everything is a huge upgrade. Ive had all kinds of compatibility problems from different versions of PHP and MySQL but Ive been slowly working through them.

If I have some time today, I'm going to try to get the banners moved and the gallery back up. I expected to have that done last night but I had a hell of a time with the attachments. What should have been a 5 minute job ended up taking hours because of the way vBulletin handles all that stuff.

I will let the boss man do his job. Maybe he can get that place a lil quicker.
I think some more people will migrate over if/when he gets it up to speed.
It is still as slow loading as it was. But I am sure they will get it worked out.

If you need a great place to talk Buicks, cut loose once in awhile, and not get chastized by every politically correct MOFO in the world, yes there is.

Tere has been many great friendships built over there that have carried over to TB.COM and many people have attended Buick events together that got started on t6p.

Maybe you should come check it out once it is up and running, if you don't think there is a need for you, no problem, I will take care of it for you

I used to post at T6P, but after awhile it seemed like allot of folks drifted away and went back to either tb or tbs. I was under the impression that T6P was owned/operated by the same people that owned/operated this board which is why I wondered why there even needed to be a T6P. For awhile it seemed like it was the 'neutral' territory between the two boards.

It's a nostagia thing. I think Shane and Jayc started the facination there and don't want to loose it. It's a fun place to play.

True. Been owning a buick since 86 and subscribed to Gnttype when it was an email list. Always knew this place was here but it moved too fast to keep up with until T6p.

There's some good stuff in that cookbook. Note that it's mostly MAN food so if you don't like it........
