te44 with shaft play

Hey everybody, so I am debating whether I should purchase this te44 with little shaft play from a guy because my stock turbo is f*cked. I have the rebuild kit for it already, do you think it would be worth it to buy it? I am scared that when I open it like my stock turbo, the blades will be all chewed up from shaft play. It looks fairly clean, but thats just the outside.

If the blades didn't hit the wall it's a very rebuildable, and from those pictures it looks ok to me.
