Pat,

Got your payment and the ECU conversion is under way. Thanks!

Scott,

Glad to help out. The old motorhome did not fare well in the end, but we sure did drink a lot of beer in it. Had 21 people in it for my buddy's bachelor party!

I think need to send this ecm back and have it converted back to a B2B unit. I can't seem to get my car to run nowhere as good as it did on the B2B software. I have tried everything under the sun and it's not happy. I really hate to put the stock ecm back in the car just so i can drive it.

There might be somthing up with it other than it being sequential now.

I ran a bank/bank box for severa weeks while mine was being converterd and

When I got mine back there was a instant improvement. Idle/part throttle

and I'm sure WOT too.

Hopefully somthing simple. But I would not go back to bank/bank again!

well i have talked to craig and he is telling me that the wiring harness needs to be rewired now.

Did you have to rewire your ecm harness when he done the conversion for you?

do you have the jump harness that connects the stock wiring to the fast? i have the one that precision makes.

I have the FAST stand alone harness. I did not have to make any changes in my harness when I changed to the up graded box.

I wonder if the patch harness from precision is only jumpered for batch.

The stock harness all the way out to the injectors is setup for sequential

That I'm 100% sure of. I'll bet you'll need to connect the individual

Wires off the fast box over the top of the Precision adaptor and hard wire

them to the factory harness. I'll bet that's the problem!

I can get with Craig and get the pin numbers/factory colors. I proably have

that info here with all my stuff.

You could also get a sequential patch harness from precision but i doubt it'd

be worth the extra $$$$ when your only talking about changing 6wires.

Craig

called me this morning and told that he had down some research on my issues and that i needed to move 2 wires on the FAST side of the harness. that where the cam sensor wiring thats currently in pin c3 needs to be moved to the ESC wire pin H1. then H1 gets moved to the n20 enable pin L2.

If thats the case you should have had to moves these same wires either on the motor or @ the ecm. when you changed from a B2B to SFI. it's funny cause craig said he has never had any issues when converting other peeps boxes from a b2b to sfi nore did they have to rewire anything. I have great luck.

Update....... I did this on my lunch break and still have no cam sync on the dashboard when the engine is running.

I only moved the cam sensor wire from c3 to h1 and i left the esc wire unhooked for now. but i still can't get a cam sync. i don't think leaving the esc wire unhooked from it (new location L2) should have any effects on not getting the cam sync.

so are there any other ideas out there?

You and I need to have a electronics session and buy a couple of Megasquirts for Xmas :D

I hate seeing you go through all this Pat, who knew the Pandora’s box you'd opened by switching from B2B to SFI.

Nice talking to you the other day Slo....

IF yourself or Craig could post the exact wire switches for ESC enable for the

Sequential conversion to work with the knock sensor that would be great.

Crag.. thank you for calling me and leaving me a message. If you could just

post the wire sqitches that'd be great!
Thanks, Scott~
