Ok
We are still testing on Sam's car
But I will release some lower boost numbers
At 28.1psi the car made 860hp with the backpressure at 1.1🙂
Low boost numbers
What are the converter spec's and how is it doing on slippage ? i see its Dave's but unfamiliar with that version, 3521?

The converter is a custom diode NL . Dave has only made 2 of them and mine is spec'ed for my motor that he built . As far as stall I'm not sure because It was restalled after the Comp 6771 CTR was installed , Mr Spool has that info . The car is going out tonight for some launches & WOT blasts , then to the track on Saturday .

Curious how the weekend went?
The weather didn't cooperate plus few minor set backs , Found a bad Holley coil that was causing issues then blew off a charge pipe coupler . going back out shortly . Mr Spool will post results after final testing .

Yes I will post up when we are done with the testing getting it where it needs to be.
The Holley is showing boost being made at 1800rpm.
The car rips.

Sam's car is back at home and he is headed to bowling green next week
We couldn't get to the track in time
Been raining here so we will if neccessary remote tune when sam gets to the track.
But...
We tested and made several hits and got the tune and the dome pressure to target the boost area for Sam's goal(I went higher for testing purposes😁)so we really got a chance to see what a hubless can do.
The safeties in the holley are setup and ready depending on track conditions.
In a nutshell
I could make any amount of boost off the footbrake and can be in and out of the throttle at just about any angle and the turbo will lite/recover as it's going down the road.
Since the backpressure is 1to1
The motor revs even faster🙂
And it's on the very tire hard very fast.
The fastest spooling turbo I've ever seen by far.
And it's not even sweating😎

LETS GO! 3 Bolt life, footbrake madness, just as the lord intended it to be from the factory. Lord Vador that is.
With this boost so early I think it might save many people from wanting a trans brake or 2 step.

Mr Spool & Company did a fantastic job with my car . The tune is spot on with very little correction from the Holley and now the Holley controls the boost with double redundant over boost protection . I will be taking it easy on the launch until I get a feel for the new found power .
Anyone who wants to see a Comp Hubless , I will be at Bowling Green on the river side with a 30x30 tent and a WH1 with NY plates " IBOOSTN " .

Are you using co2 for your boost control?

as a west coaster who cant make it to the big show, take lots of video i wanna see!

congratz on the new setup!

Any info on it vs another turbo on this combo from the past like.. spools 200 faster, makes more power at 30psi vs other turbo 34psi, backpressure, IAT at 30psi vs old T 30psi etc?

Yes I posted up earlier.
It makes more power earlier and lowered backpressure.
the boost number used more fuel per lb.
we literally needed not alot of dome pressure(while getting the co2 where it needed to be)to create boost and the boost pressure made power while being lowered.
Making boost at 1800rpm off the footbrake and I could create any boost number I wanted just coming off vacuum.
to say the torque was incredible is an understatement.
The driver will need seat time to get the most out of the car and other adjustments may need to made
Unfortunately We couldn't get that far in the testing due to weather and time constraints.
Sam wants to run a specific number so the car was not even close to be being turned up.
But it will not need a great 60ft to run fast the power can be created anywhere down the track or street
This alone is where the advantage is.
The boost will recover when the car is peddled in multiple driving scenarios so a clean run is not needed.
As far as iat we were very confident they were more than happy with bp at 1.1 on a 1400hp turbo that we only ran to around 900hp and gave it back to sam backing off that number for his goal.
At least till he wants more😁

How did the car do at bowling green? I need to make it back out there again.
