I think you have the best possible offer on the table. Him offering you 10K just to go out there and line them up is a hell of a offer.

I think you missed the point of my original challenge. Tony feels that I should be doing better on my track. He claims that difficult tracks are not a problem for him. I asked him to come out and show me how it's done. He said, put your money where your mouth is. I then did. We argued about some terms and Tony wanted to go back to the original challenge. He even quoted that challenge to me. I let him know that would be fine then.
I simply can't afford to bring him out. If I had the spare chunk of change to do that, I certainly would bring him out, just so I could wipe the track with his big mouth.
If people really want to see this happen so bad, they're going to have to help Tony get out this way. I want him on my track first, and I want him to be the first for this new motor.
I want this new motor to be able to say to its kids, big mouth Tony was my first.

I accepted your challenge but told you your offer needed to be much higher. Ahh, so there it is. You are going to hide behind the $500 amount? I'm pretty sure Tony never agreed to that, that's why you raised it to $1000 and Tony said make it $10,000. Depending on what you offer for travel, it doesn't appear like you want to race him has much as he wants to race you.

all rite Donnie, I have no problem acceppting your original challenge at your track. But I can not do it for 500 dollars it's a min $4000 for me to bring my car there. Just we are all clear here you want me to spend 4000 dollars to win 500 and still lose 3500 or if I lose I lose 4000 dollars and if you win you profit 500 and at worse you lose 500. Is this true yes or no ?

This is exactly why he felt comfortable talking the smack and making the challenge in the first place. He knew anyone in their right mind wouldn't drag their junk across the country to race for $500. At least he's honest about not having the funds.

Tony, I'm going to admit something to you. I don't have the money to help you out that way. I'm pushing it with 500. I'm still scraping up money to put my car together. If you really want to show me how it's done, you're going to have to get some help from all your eager buddies to get out here.

I've been playing "Buicks" for quite a while, and it's very obvious

I've NEVER heard Donnie brag, EVER! he is a teacher, he will always take time to explain, what ,why .
he has helped many ,many buick owners, (and other's too)
he will explain to you what is wrong and what it should have to be right.

I'd like to see this race, but on more friendly terms.

I've already explained it. Go back and research it. You've always been good at that with my threads. I'm surprised you missed it. There was a time window where I would have gone for it depending on your next responce, and you blew it. That was when I knew you'd simply figure out any way possible to wiggle out of having to do this. I had asked the lady to dance for the last time, and you blew it.
