TSO win at Columbus 2010

Same car new combo :D

Had a lot of fun on and off the track

I built the motor a few weeks ago put on Cal's new coil on plug and drove up to Columbus.

Cal Hartline had the car dialed in from the very first pass.
Awesome work Cal, Thanks ;)

Tom, Bill and the guys at Champion what can I say except your heads kick azz! Thank you for the quick service and the best production heads and intake out there !!!!!!

Dan at DLS for the parts that allow me to build my motors and get the job done.

ZDDPlus for there products and support.

Dusty and PTC

Thank you all.

Congrats Don. No suprise there. BG should be interesting.

Congrats man! You guys know how to get it done!

Congrats Buddy! You truely know these cars inside and out and how to make them run!

Wow, what a weekend! You forgot to mention you were running on little 275 drag radials  And that you weren't running at Stage-head weight. We may need to rethink the weight penalty, unless they open the class up to Pro-mod 88's.

Showing up with an untested car can be pretty intimidating. You did your homework and made it look easy. Cruz engine, Champiogn heads, PTC, XFI, AMS, etc... To run 8.17@173.47 with production style heads on your first TSO race is amazing! I need to thank Dave and Tony for helping me with the learning curve to help get you there so quickly ;)

The coil-on-plug worked flawlessly, and is now fully tested and ready for the public. I will start building kits this week and get them out to the guys who have already requested them.

We did find a few "new combination" bugs that need to be worked out before the next outing. I can only imagine how well the car is going to run at Reynolds with those sorted out. We may just see the first official 7 second pass with production style heads!

BTW: It looks like we both need to update our signatures!

Don, you should be proud of your accomplishment. To set a stock head TSO record and a win on the first race is awesome and proof you got your game together.

Well done ! First time out get's a record pass and the win . Must have really done the homework and it paid off . From what I saw it looks like on a better track with some better air TSO will have 3 seven second cars

I see 4. Tony, Dave, Don, and Ted. If Chris has kept his car, there may have been a 5th one. BG & Reynolds will be interesting with both Don and Ted trying to be the first "official" 7 second stock headed car. I suspect they will both do it "unofficially" before BG ;)

Hmmm, I think a penalty for running Twisted 6 PTC converters might be in order... ;)

LOL! Probably a wash since nearly every racer is running one. I wouldn't take the weight break, to go without one

edit: In my previous post, I meant to say that Don WAS running at Stage head weight

Great job Cruz!! Wish I would have had time to see you guys run. Sounds like that 7 second pass is just a few runs away. Best of luck!! Mike:cool:

WOW on 275s too!!!
The only thing that disapoints me, is your non updated signature.
Very impressive...

Don, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrat's my friend!!!!

You made it look EASY!!!!!

For all those that haven't been keeping up isn't that 3 out of 4 WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reynolds, blow the TSM record out with a 8.88!!!!

Turbobuick.com Nats, TSO motor had been bitten by a Distributor BUG!!!

Norwalk, another TSM 8 second pass (where many thought it not possible) and WIN!!!!!

BPG, TSO untested NEW SET UP!!!!! with coil on plug, and Factory style head set up and run 8.17 @173+mph!!!!! and another WIN!!!!!!!

Man, the question is HOW LOW CAN YOU GO!!!!!!!:eek:
