Tim, that sounds good to me. I love anything and everything fast. I know I am mostly a straight line type of guy but I admire and respect all the cornercarvers as well. I look to get into that a little as the new track is built here in Tulsa.
I just like to see everyone all get along and have respect for each other cars. Like I said I really appreciate TFCC for letting all of us post and not a bunch of narrow minded f-body driving peeps that think only the cars they drive are cool.

Hey 93 we are working on putting together our 1st annual fordbastard car convention here in the DFW area (tentatively around May 9th so far). We want to do 2 days at Motor Sport Ranch (MSR = 1.7 mile road course) and 1 day at Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX ( a 1/4 mile national drag strip) you and your buddy are more than welcome to come down for the events. Yet when I spoke to the cameraman he said he could clearly see me in the camcorder. And you definatly don't see or hear about any of those races. I did not realize a factory equipped 5-spd manual 73hp/L 7300rpm redline DOHC Yamaha sedan was considered a granny car. Just like I did not think that a turbo 3800 equipped Regal was considered a granny car. BTW, we have some GN owners on our SHO board. We welcome them with open arms. I am only responding to a post made about my car. I happen to think that what I have said is relevant, and I did not start the post, nor will I start any post not GN related. Not understanding the animosity coming from some of you guys. Seems a little insecure and childish (notice please I am not calling anyone insecure and childish, only saying that to react in such a way seems insecure and childish). Do you guys resond the same to the GP crowd with boosted 3800's? Just wondering.

I love the tundra actually and I've been out of it plenty of times. Sounds like you're the one who needs a road map, but I don't think there's a map big enough to cover the distance you'd need to cover to get your head out of your ass. I post on ClubSi all the time, and I've never owned a Honda, let alone an Si model. I am welcomed over there despite that, because I care about performance. What's so hard for you to grasp here?

Well at least we drive our SHO's unlike you who apparently just parks your GN in the garage and polishs it since it only has 21k on it. The 2 SC SHOs in the video each have over 150k on them. And I know Toolmans turbo SHO has over a 100k. The 2 SHOs I own both have over a 150k in fact my 93 has over 185k on it. While a lot of Regals are in the junk yard (dead) with just over a 100k the SHOs are still running strong, in fact we have a SHO owner that has SHO that has over 350k on it and is her daily driver.

I know you hate Fords but just because you hate Fords doesn't make all Ford owners bad people. I have a friend that drives a tow truck and he tells me his tow truck company tows more GM products than any other make of cars. 3 to 1 ratio of towed cars are GMs.

The last GM I owned was a 87 Gran Prix that the engine seized at 61k. So I now drive Fords.

GN's are a bit more rare than most cars so taking pride in them and keeping them clean and fast is justified.

unwillingness to listen??? i WATCHED the video and saw with my own 2 eyes the car pass both vehicles, BUT, i put into my t-rex calculator, and the vet maybe runs about 112 in the 1/4 mile... the lightning is less than that too...
so that kinda does show the car may run 112.5ish, BUT the 70-130 is the ONLY place these cars SHINE due to lack of traction in the first 2 gears!
