what convertor [car feels sluggish now]

car has 42.5# injectors, PT-52 turbo, TH downpipe, 3" exhaust...

just feels sluggish. it seems the engine makes good power nut it doesn't get to the ground. tranny actually shifts good too. i think the convertor is garbage that is in the car. i'd actually like to try that first before getting into tranny work.

the car is a street car only.

The 52's are known spool hogs.... It takes alot to spool them. What converter do you have now?? For that turbo I'd say it needs at least a 3200. If you have a converter in the 28-3000 range now you'd probably be cheaper and faster to step up to a new style 61 turbo....

even under full boost it feels meh. can a bad convertor kill power that much?

no. it's a 9", well it appears to be. feels loose. the car actually shifts crisp it just feels weak.

what would be the best convertor for my setup?

Look up Dusty Bradford on these boards. He is a PTC rep...he knows his stuff. He fixed me up along with ALOT of other guys. PM him and tell him what u want.
