- Rebuilt tranny

- New hot wire kit

Not much at all... however the tranny did cost some cheese so...

Let's see...

GNX (GTA) wheels/tires
Razor's Alky system
Turbo Tweak chip
Powermaster to vacuum brake conversion
Fiberglass front/rear bumper fillers
removal of ill-fitting Pioneer CD-FM radio with a UX1 radio cassette/EQ with
MP3 player capability
bunch of little things too numerous to mention

about to replace rear axle seals... add synthetic rear axle lube.

After 11+ years [doh':biggrin:] .... i finally replaced my rear brake shoes and swapped to S10 wheel cylinders - besides that been driving the hell out of it... changed the oil numerous times..... added my custom SW inner fender reinforcements..... now this winter should be another story:eek:

Installed my FMIC, new brakes, fuel filter..wash and wax. I was just getting ready to buy a Labonte Stage 2 alky kit but just before I got ready to hit buy....my ol lady was like "what are you doing?" i was like "ummmm nothin" and then closed the window hella fast lol . We are remodeling our kitchen so $$$ is going into that project. After a "good night" sleep  we agreed to get the alky kit and a TT chip/inj combo. Oh and she bought me a little suprise too...vanity plate that reads "GM LEGND"

Well lets see here.

It started with:

Built 200-4R with ProTorque 32-3400 billet 9.5" stall
ATR-style rear swaybar and airbags
Loaner Precision TE-61
MSD50s
New Comp 980 valvesprings and new valve seals.

Then I went to a Dutt neck stock IC over the summer, along with a brand-new Limit TE-62:D, new coilpack, custom turbo oiler, new couplers and clamps, and finally a PLX Devices SM-AFR standalone wideband.

New plugs, Denso 02, and resealed the 50s. Ran a best of 11.58 so far at E-Town. New pads, rotors and seals as well. Also serviced the rear. Gonna need a posi and axles soon...:(

Just bought another new set of MT DRs and another set of GTAs.

replaced floors, bought new lines, put body on the frame, switched out the n/a pan for turbo pan, por15 floor inside and out and undercoated, cut out the rustholes in the inner wheelwells adn replaced the sections of metal, bought lots of stuff I didn't need, cleaned up dash, fixed some wiring, replaced front suspension, painted everything underneath part by part, put in air bags, and other odds and ends I can't remember but spent a lot of money on it in the past year. Ran out of money so I've been putting it back together so I can at least enjoy it while I save up more money to do body/paint and new rubber-EVERYWHERE:eek:

I built a nice lump for my gn project. Other than that I collected parts, tinkered around with the other cars and actaully drove my GN more than once...

damn I spent more than I thought:D

cleaned my seatbelts yesterday. WOW what a difference it makes. 2 sink full of water that turned black. couldn't even see through the water:eek:

Well, let's see.... Only one item really.

Finally got around to getting my Translator Pro speed density tune tweaked to PERFECTION!!

Since I really don't race much anymore, my goal was absolutely perfect street manners that would rival those of the stock setup.
Got that and more, and on top of that the WOT side is just as scary perfect.

All's well in the old 86 beater.

Lets see....

I did my rear shocks, fuel pump, and maf sensor. Still have to do front shocks and all the steering components....inner and outer tie-rod ends...etc. I also learned that my torque converter is bad and I need to replace it.

So far this year:

  • Pouted around because I don't have a running TR, so I...
  • Got my driver side header welded to fix the crack, headers are now JDM
  • Ported my intake
  • Ordered a conversion kit
  • Wired up most of my gauges
  • Had a cookout with some friends and put a lot of the motor together

Still to come:
Hoist the motor in, wire her up, and hope that it fires right up.

I did everything that's in my sig including buying the car. I bought it in Jan of this year and started on it immediately. It also spent 3 months in the paint shop getting repainted.
