What's a CAS V4 worth?

I'd like to get a FMIC and am going to sell my CAS V4 to my brother. It's in good shape, scoop is in good shape, etc. What's the going rate for a CAS V4 these days? I don't want to rip him off, but I don't want (actually can't afford) to give it away either.

Intercoolers really don't loose much value if they're in good shape. I've seen them go used for as much as $700. I got a good deal 3-4 years ago when I paid $500 for a v4 that was only 6 months old.

I searched the archives and found a couple that were sold, but I don't know for how much. I'd think $500 for this one is probably fair. It is a few years old, but like you said they don't really wear out. The paint on the scoop is coming off in a couple of places but otherwise it's good.
