Just received a new ATR uppipe and found one of my stock pipes is leaking. It's the pipe, on the elbow, that's closest to the front. I hope that it's the uppipe seeing as how I would already have the replacement for it. The stock pipe is leaking pretty badly, how big a difference will fixing this make? Also, are the threads on the schrader valve on the fuel rail regular pipe threads or what?

hrm....its the pipe on the elbow....any more discriptive?!

The stock up-pipe is closest to the "front" of the car, and it runs from the the Header..into the turbo. It is connected to the turbo with a 3-bolt flange!

The downpipe goes from the exhaust elbow of the turbo, and it is behind/next to the up-pipe.

If you got a brand new up pipe...just look at the peice...The up-pipe should have a 3-bolt flange.

if you up-pipe was leaking you would probably have a VERY VERY hard time spooling the car up...once the leak is fixed (if it before the turbo) you should notice a difference in spool up!

You want belive how much better it will run if its a bad exhust leak , they kill the cars performance same with vac leaks.

Good luck

Were can you get one of those schrader valves from that can hold up to temp and fuel.
