It's 3 months until the season opens here, almost 4, and with this heat you expect us to start looking?
All I have to do is walk out my door and put some bait out in mid September and by mid October I'll have more in the front yard than I want.
I now have a clear shot all around the pond that's less than 200 yards off the front porch and there isn't any other water within at least 1/2 mile or more.

Just started shooting to get ready for archery opener. I usually don't scout, just walk out the back yard and shoot a decent doe. Would love a buck, but not much of a hardcore buck hunter.
With a face like that I see why you hunt from a tree James.
