This car has a te-44 with blue tops. High 11 to low 12 sec. power. Tranny is on its way out. Who's rebuild kit is recommended in terms of bang for your buck. This is not going to be a strip car at all. Weekend cruiser only. TIA

Thanks, guys. I certainly didnt think about the gear shift indicator light being on that circuit. I have had issues with it in the past.

My dash dimmer switch is popping fuses if it isnt turned all the way down. I need to buy one used or new. TIA

The te-45 was/is a 63mm, the te-45a has a 66mm compressor wheel.

According to you sig, you should be able to hit 122 with the te44. Turn up the boost and save a lot of money.

For me PAC= 34psi boost,0 knock, passengers with #10 pucker factor, and $2.4x/gal. fuel.

Razor's kit connects the purple wire to the brake on/off switch so when you mash the brake the alky is dis-armed. Contact SMC about which wire would do the same thing. When alky isnt in use I have had similar symptoms with vacuum leaks and O2 sensors.

It will start cooking at around 24lbs and wont quit til mid-30+.

Phil, I have an unopened engine. That being said, my car at 34 psig. is not seeing the cylinder pressures as the cam and head guys. I usually run about 30-32 psig. I hit 34 a few times when the weather turned cold. I turned it down some after that not that I was worried about that level...

You dont have your stall speed posted so I dont know. The .82 is a Garrett if I'm not mistaken. The .85 is Precisions. Do you already have the .82 on hand or are you gonna purchase one? If you are trying to decide what to purchase I would leave the .63 on it and put the money on something...

How did folks set this up "back in the day"? I know that a spark plug with an oil burner tip was incorporated but that is all I know about it.
