700 Pound Grizzly Bear

This is the 700 pounder hit by a truck near Lincoln, Mt. last week.
One big Griz.

That's awesome them Grizs are bad, brings back memories of living up in Alaska the last Frontier. I remember goin snow hare hunting around spring time they are still carryin white fur had a 20 gauge snake charmer well I come around a tree and there's this huge pile of bear scat probably 16" in diameter and it's still steaming. I take myself back to the pickup no questions asked as I wasn't about to fend off a bear with a 20 gauge. Maybe a lever action Marlin in 45/70, or a 375 H&H or a 454 Casull but not that pea shooter. Too many bear stories of people getting killed and mauled badly. Nice pics would love to have the claws.
