Trying to help out a friend. Her AC just started to blow hot. Will check the fuse first.....don't think that's the problem. Will try to fill the r134. Told her I had a bottle left over from the last time I filled my Focus. It was a pain trying to find the fill point on the Focus. It is in the wheel well and you have to remove the fender panel. Just wanted to know if the low side fill point is under the hood or some secret place. Looking for an owners manual but this is the only thing I need.

Is the compressor cycling?

I would do a dye, determine if theres a leak. Then I would evac and recharge so I know exactly how much came out and how much is going in.

Those cans scare me.

Do you know if the fill point is under the hood or do I have to get into the fender well?

The low side fitting should be near the firewall on the passenger side where both lines go thru to the evaporator. High side is either near the compressor or between the grill and radiator support. Easy to get to either way. Just don't open high side guage with can attached. They tend to swell and the refridgerant will come out of the can. That is what the little "cuts" in the can are for. So the can doesn't explode but rather start leaking and make you take notice.
