Cool "Truck" spotted today....

Not sure what this thing was. Some kind of hybrid between a semi and a dually pickup.

Hood emblem said "International". Was lifted up and pulling a trailer.

the form follows the function. to you, it may be ugly- but to the person that needs it's hauling ability but doesn't want to shell out the $$$ for a full on semi truck, then it's the most beautiful thing on the road.

yea but the only problem with the new lonestar is they only have 430 hp motors.

I know, why make the "limo" of OTR trucks and then stick a honda motor in it. It does make a lot of torque though.

Every time I see one of these on the road (which isn't often) It makes me think my 387 is small. I do enjoy 500+ hp through 5" straight pipes, so I'll keep the Pete.:biggrin:

edit - no it's not a honda motor, I was making a comparison. (for those of you not in the know)

We had a guy her it gibsonburg oh. take a GMC shwans cab and frame and put a chevy dully 8 FT. bed on it and put a lift on too. Damn did it look good.:biggrin:

Most of them are bought by people who will never really use them unforuantly one of the escavtion contractors I work with has one that is used to hual trailers almost every day. I think its a f750 but Im not sure it does have air brakes though. I also have seen most of them seem to have the on spot chains (the automatic chains) I would think one of them would be scary to drive in the snow without a load on it.
