In plain English, what are the problems with dual-feeding with the 2004r? I am very familiar with the procudure in the 350/400 trans. My question specifially; what problems do you encounter with the stock direct drum? Why do problems with the forward clutch appear after dual feeding? At what performance level is dual feeding needed? Are there any drawbacks? And lastly, what was Hydromatics reasoning for the dual chambers in the direct clutch? Neither Chrysler or Ford (to the best of my knowledge) use this setup, seems like a lot of added complex hydrolics. I cant imagine with all the cost saving steps GM takes that there wasnt a good reason for it. Thanks, I learn somthing new almost every time I read somthing on this board!
