Dyno tune in SoCal

Okay after my runs last night of 1.63 60' 11.8 @ 111mph and 1.58 60' 11.6 @ 112mph . I believe my MPH is super low and a Dyno tune would help me get those numbers up . Where is a great place to go to make this happen and about how much am I looking to spend .

The ET is really good for the MPH so the flip side to that it the MPH is low. How much MPH difference are you seeing from the 1/8th to the 1/4?

??? If he went 96 in the eighth he should pick up 24mph and run Approx 120. Big difference between 20 and 25. A car that runs 81 in the eighth should pick up 20mph. If the eighth to quarter pickup is off by 1mph or more theres reason for concern.

Bison what i meant to do here is take a guess stimation and i think i did that to the OP, there are a lot of factors that would play a role in how much you pick up, such as altitude of track, temp of the day, tune, etc etc..

Those things will equally effect the eighth mph and be reflected in the quarter mph. The two go together. He has a big problem if he's only picking up 15mph. That's like losing 200hp out the back

I ran a 7.3 @97 at iwandale and then went to fomosa and ran 11.6 @ 112 it was at night and conditions were really great it was night time and the track was prepped for nitro cars . It is falling on its face after the 1/8 . I really need to get it tuned and find out why such a slow mph in the 1/4

Running rich wouldnt drop you 9mph. Something is way off. What is your converter slip?

Not familiar with Edge converters. Like Bison mentioned, you need to check your converter efficiency. Here's a calculator: http://www.tciauto.com/tc/racing-calculators/

No logs my computers battery died on me :-( I don't know what the slippage is ? That calculator requires info like trans ratio idk what to put in there ? 1:1? Also where it says rpm is that going trough the traps ?

For trany put 1 and rpm what ever they are at the traps
