There have been several posts talking about buying Dynomax VT's, but thus far, no followups. Have the posters not installed their Dynamax mufflers yet?

The Dynomax are quitter but have some drone which is not as annoying. Muffler shop told me ANY brand free flow muffler will have some drone by design.YUP. Im on here now researching a replacement for my race pros. Maybe street pros who knows.
Exactly, what's the point of telling us "they work"? I commented on this topic because some people were critical of the Pypes mufflers and some suggested Dynomax...but there wasn't a single first-person testimonial on those, even though pages of discussion came and went. How do they work? What setup are you running and is there ANY drone?
That would be because they do work. My set-up is 3in THDP, dump pipe, Pypes exhaust minus the street pros. I put street pros on just before the May event at RC's. The drone from VA to NC killed me. I would say they flow pretty well as I made 600 fwhp through them. I bought a set used of here (basically new) and tried them car has very little drone. I can listen to the radio, talk to the wife, talk on the phone and tell my 5yr old to shutup.Exactly, what's the point of telling us "they work"?
This is EXACTLY what I am doing. The " no drone crowd" should just get stock type super quiet mufflers and add an electric cutout. When you want full power open it.
Is pypes quite? I have RJC and the it sounds good, just a little too loud. I preference to hear my turbo spool than I load exhaust.3" RJC is really really good with my combo. As I have added components and tuned it has gotten better. Recently added the headers of whooof. I have installed a 2.5 pypes as well on a stock GN with race pros, didn't sound good enough, too quiet.

Same experience here with the Dynomax Ultraflo (2.5"). Nice and quiet, no drone. If I needed to buy new mufflers I'd buy the same onesI have Dynomax Ultra Flow 17219 mufflers on my car and it has absolutely no drone at all and the car is totally quiet. I was a little disappointed they were so quiet because I bought these mufflers hoping they would sound like the Walker Ultra Flo's I had on my previous cars. These mufflers are a straight thru design and can support up to 2,000 HP so they flow well.
I have a Houston 3 SS DP with a test pipe and Pypes SGG50 cat back that comes without mufflers. At light throttle you can actually hear the turbo whistle from the tailpipes.
Your welcome to take a ride in my car. It's as quiet as stock !for anyone who says they have free flowing mufflers AND no drone; you've probably got hearing loss for that frequency! I don't think the 2 things can exist on a car with limited space and weight to consider.
